BlueBonnet Thx.....Help...pls read..

Hi....thank you so much for answering me. I gave the wrong info on what kind of machine I have. What I have now is a ResMed S-8 Compact with a heated humidifier ResMed H41 and a Fisher Paykel flexfit 407 mask (face mask....not pillow). My arrows go up and down, and even when I try to access any other info on it, all I get are things like usage hrs. When they first set me up, they gave me an Autoset II and for the first 6 weeks or so, this machine measured what was going on with me. Then, they had me download the info onto a card and send it in to them. Shortly after that, a rep came and switched out the Autoset for the Compact. My doc had arranged this for me as I am self pay, no med insurance, so this was a way to bypass the sleep study.

When I first startng using the c-pap, it did seem like I was getting maybe 3 hrs. of sleep straight, but now I am back to getting up again every 1- 1 1/2 hrs., sometimes to pee, sometimes just waking up. Also, now it bothers me to have this contraption on my face. I am getting so frustrated !!

I haven't talked to my doc or the med equip co yet as I just tried ordering a new seal kit thinking maybe this would help. I've been using the c-pap for almost 4 mths. now, and I would think I would be getting some relief by now. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do?? BTW, the new seal kit didn't help at all. THANK YOU!!

a Compact will give you absolutely no data other than possibly hours used.

You'll need at least an Elite in order to figure out exactly what's going on. Anything else is just flying blind.
