I am a new user for CPAP. I am using a M Series Auto CPAP with A-Flex with humidifier. I don't have the software to interpret the data. small screen on the machine for last 7 days reads as:
APm + HYP Index
AHI 4.4
System Leak
L/ Min
29.1
Can someone interpret this for me ? Am I doing OK?
Thanks.

Re: new user-HELP
question is --- how do you feel?
good,bad,or just plain ugly?
that is the best guage.
ideally 0 would be the best ahi(not even sure that's obtainable) but 4.4 is not bad the lower the better . i've read 5.0 time and time again in here.
leak?- well on a m machine anything it blows is a leak i think. if you have the paperwork for your mask it will have a chart. one side is pressrure and one the normal leak rate. follow your pressure line to the intersection of the curve to find your mask's normal(or design) leak rate and compare this to your average. if you can't find it search on here i know i've seen them . if not some of the mfg put that on thier site. remember too much leak will keep your machine from building the pressure you need for good therapy.
the best thing you can do is fill out your profile(top left (user control panel)) and please don't use avatars use script so we know better what you have . this makes a lot of difference depending on machine/mask setup. cpap, apap, bipap,sv,st , etc etc.
also read topics under the yellow lightbulb(our wisom)
welcome aboard, have a sit , get comfy

What mask are you using? What is your pressure? Range of pressures if in Auto? How do you feel?
