Hi, When I start Encore Pro I get the error Unable to Connect to specified Database". I've allowed Encore Pro access to the internet in ZoneAlarm Firewall (I don't use Windows Firewall). Any thoughts on how to correct this? Thanks.
Never mind, I was able to fix it. Turns out that the program hadn't installed fully due to my firewall. Turned it off for a few minutes, installed, and everything works.

hmmm - I had that once but can't remember how I fixed it. Make sure the database name is set up correctly in EncorePro. I may have had to reinstall. GumbyCT and others seem to know a good bit about EncorePro's eccentricities .

You need to turn on the SQL Server Service Manager. It could be lurking in the task bar at the bottom right of your screen.
