I travel nearly every week and carry my Respironics (without the humidifier) in the Swift Nasal Pillow bag. I carry the hoses, mask, chords in another bag that I leave inside my roll-top.
At TSA, I take the Swift bag and the quart bag with liquids out and put in the tray. In the past year, I have had only one agent make me take the machine out of the bag for x-ray. About 15-20% have seen it during X-Ray and let it go. The rest have called for bag-check and then another agent runs it through the explosives check.
Leaving the machine in the bag during x-ray, provides me a sense of privacy, especially when I am travelling with co-workers.
Enjoy the cruise!
