face marks

Post by janders » Sun Feb 15, 2009 6:47 am

This is a common problem, but have not found a reliable solution. I have a nasal air mask with straps. Comfort is fine, but no matter which position I sleep in, or how much straps are adjusted there are always marks on face in the morning.

I didn't think much of it, but one day my kids pointed to a man in a hotel and they said "Daddy that man uses a sleeping machine like you". I was a little embarassed and am trying to find a way to eliminate or at least minimize the morning face marks.

Thanks,
Jim

If the marks are from the mask itself you may have it on too tight. If the marks are from the straps you can check out http://www.padacheek.com for strap covers that not only eliminate marks, they increase comfort. Padacheek is a forum member and will go to great lengths to help. You can also register as a member here and PM padacheek.

The answer is to rub it out, then take a shower and rub it out some more and magicaly it goes away, just like your kids do when they have to wear headgear on their braces at night.

Hi there---I would not use any mask without Pad A Cheek!!! I use it in every mask that I have tried so far!!! I also have the hose cover to prevent the rain out--the hose covers are VERY nicely made and will last. Padacheek is a forum member and will go to great lengths to help out anyone that she can. You should register as a member here and PM padacheek, or you can order on line from a BUNCH of products to choose from,
Carrie
