Re: Any Suggestions on First Night
The first few nights (maybe a week or so), I don't think I moved at all. I got some good sleep that way, but I did end up with a sore back from sleeping in the same position all night!SleepyManMD wrote:My wife said I did not toss and turn like I usually do
It sounds like you're getting off to a good start. Issues may (probably will) come up, but just keep your positive attitude and you'll be able to deal with them.
Re: Any Suggestions on First Night
Wash your face before you go to bed. First off that will help me mask not leak. Second it is probably something you normally do anyway. Keep your normal routine don't change everything up because you now use cpap you will fail if you do that. Just do as you normally would but add cpap in.
When you get up in the morning wash your mask and rinse your humidifier tub out and let it dry.
Take one day at a time.
Once you are past a few days come back on here and ask about other things to do and ask about problems you are having if you are having any.
I try to wash my mask daily and I use Ivory dish soap no fragrance or anything just plain.
One thing do not eat or exercise for at least a couple to a few hours before you try to go to sleep.
Good luck

Also plug your cpap into a good surge suppressor. Not a $200.00 unit but not a $2.00 unit either. You want to protect this piece of equipment so use a good one not a cheap one.

Well I'm glad I read this thread as I'll get my first set-up and night's sleep tomorrow night. Is it me, or is this site just awesome?!
