Snoring while you're awake

Post by yawn » Thu Jul 28, 2005 8:24 pm

I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else. There are times during the day when I am fully awake and my airway gets cut off. I think I must be relaxing my tongue or something because all of a sudden, my airway gets blocked and I sort of make a snore noise. It scares me to have that happen when I'm awake. I mentioned this to Sir_C in another thread and he suggested I put it out there as a new topic. Can't wait to hear your replies ...Amy

I had somethihg similar before I started with CPAP. Not a real snore, a sort of "clack"... didn't like it either.

That happened to me. But I hadn't realized that i actually was dozing. That scared me even more than the snore.
