ACR-38 Card Reader Diagnostic Tool "Overview"

Post by billbolton » Wed Feb 11, 2009 3:00 am

ACS has a diagnostic tool, called Overview, that "checks if the user has properly installed his smart card readers" which works with ACR-38 readers. The ACR-38 is the reader used by Resmed in for ResScan.

A correctly installed reader (using the drivers on the ResScan 3.7 CD) produces this log report for my Levono T400 laptop...
  • ACS QuickView Log : 11/02/2009:20:24:16

This may be useful for anyone having a problem in getting an ACR-38 successfully installed and is trying to determine if the issue is with the ACS drivers or with the ResScan application.

The Overview utility can be found here.... http://www.acs.com.hk/card-utility-tools.php

Cheers,

Bill
