Nothing more frustrating

Post by GumbyCT » Sat Feb 07, 2009 10:18 am

Nothing is more frustrating than taking the time out of your read to read then write a reply to a post only to get that dreaded Internal Server Error. I know it has been reported before, over & over by many people and as many clues as possible given to try to isolate this show stopping Server Error.

This is what it looks like -
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

It appears that removing a smiley face from my post cleared this error today when previewing this post -
viewtopic/t38421/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38 ... 20#p336020

this is the smiley

Now why would it work here?

The smiley was inserted AFTER "air supply." in that post. I just tried using quote then inserting the smiley and got the error again.
