SPO 7500 - Saving the Data

Post by cpapsue » Wed Feb 04, 2009 9:22 am

Got my oximeter two days ago and having some trouble. Do you need to create a new file each night?

It looks as though each time you create a new file, the data is cleared from the device. Is that right?
What info do you fill in for each new file? I got the info for the first night, but did not create a new file for the 2nd night, assuming it would just write over the previous info.

Also, can two or more people use it - saving the data to new files each time?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Susan

Yes, you have to "create a new study" every time you use it, I believe, and the device may be used by multiple users.

Thanks Rip - I was hoping for a nice, easy solution. That's not too bad!

I have lent mine out to friends to wear overnite and then I print out their results forthem- figure as
long as I dont advise them it is OK

yes- you erase when you make a new study- either for you again or for another name
the other thing that I run into sometimes is if you take
it off after an hour or so and then put it back on you might find out you have only recorded that hour or so

I still like to use it every couple weeks- it is interesting to compare encore data to the desats-

I use the aflex and I think sometimes it is a little slow to respond to events and O2 gets a little low-
but only for 20 seconds or so- then back up again-
