Nose Bleeds with C-Pap
I have been using a c-pap for 4 years. I have had a problem with nosebleeds that my doctor cannot diagnose. Any experience with daily nosebleeds by other users?

Do you use a humidifier?
Have you involved an ENT?

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Re: Nose Bleeds with C-Pap
Do you keep your nasal passages moist with Ayr Gel or any nasal lubricating gel ( not Vaseline)?
It should be used at night and a couple of times a day if necessary to keep the nasal passages from drying up and possibly breathing. We use "Rhinaris". It is available in Canada but I don't know about elsewhere.
My husband does not have sleep apnea but has been prone to nose bleeds for many years, especially in the dry cold months of the year (in Canada). He used a nasal lubricating gel when he had his first nose bleed of the "season" for years and continued until spring. He still had some nose bleeds. This year we tried an experiment. He started using the gel late September ( just at night) and he has used it every night. For the first time in years he has not one nose bleed all winter. This has been an unusally dry and cold winter so we have been surprised! It is certainly something we will continue to do in dry cold weather every day.
