That's actually one of my little pet peeves. Machines are made more expensive (which eventually affects patients' pocketbooks) to collect compliance data. I told my primary care doctor right after I got the machine that it wasn't necessary to collect compliance data, because if he needed to know, he could just ask me. I also told him that my machine shows I have been 100% compliant, but that I have not been 100% compliant. So of what use is that data, anyway? He agreed with me. He's a great doctor. He completely supports my choice to manage my own equipment.
