It is condensation that forms within your hose from the heated humidifier. If you bedroom is cooler than the heated water, you are going to get condensation in tehe tubing - makes gurgling noises as well as it can get your face wet. The way to stop it is to either turn the temperature up in your room, turn the humidifier down to a lower heater setting, insulate the tubing with a fleece wrap, or use something such as an Aussie Heated Hose - which is what I do - it warms the CPAP hose up to a stable temperature, and therefore I am able to put the humidifier heater on it's maximum setting - keeps my air passages and mouth moist. I don't know what I would do without the heated hose! It is worth every dollar I spent for it (about $100 USD). I have had mine for a few years!

Actually in cold weather, I have seen condensation in the hose on my Swift LT before it hooks to my heated hose. I believe it is condensed breath in that hose since I have the heated humidifier set at 0.

The mask hose is right above my face so seeing the small "puddle" of water moving back and forth in the hose valley was quite a surprise.
