I believe we have at least two facially hirstute participants who use f/f masks.
My guess is that a little trimming may improve the sealing.

I am sure they will see your post & directly comment.

Sure, Larry. I have a full beard & successfully use a F/F mask. As DSM says, I think there are at least a couple of other bearded posters. Check out the "Today am giving up ..." thread started by DSM 7-20-05.

I have a full beard, but keep it trimmed to help with the leaks. Side sleeping is the big problem. Currently use the Resmed Ultra Mirage FF...ok. Have used the Fisher 431 FF. Still looking the the "perfect" full face mask!
