If I had it to do again I would look at other brands (though the other brands would still be more money so I might still get Contex). I would definitely ~not~ get another handheld with a long wire (as my 60-D is)--the wire has just proven to be a huge annoyance. I have also found the huge sensor on the 60-D an annoyance (and uncomfortable for other reasons beyond size), so I would be concerned that the 50-E or other fingertip-only models would be similarly problematic. But I may just be a fusspot.. I would probably look for a wrist model with the smallest possible finger sensor--perhaps the 50-F http://www.semedicalsupply.com/cms-50f.htm. The Contex SpO2 software is cumbersome and inflexible but I cannot compare to other brands. As far as I can tell, the only output ability is to open a cvs file that is saved and which includes a long list of pairs of numbers (sat and pulse). Also, I gather the software is not necessarily included or readily available to end users for all brands, so that is something to verify.TheDreamer wrote:So, I shouldn't get the CMS-50E?
