I'm glad to know that others who use the Comfort Gel Nasal mask find a higher leak rate. For me that means higher AHI. Because of it I switched to the Mirage Acitva. I like it but not as comfortable as the Comfort Gel. I wish that leak rate would get fixed so my AHI would go down.

What I'm talking about is Respironics, inability to get quality control from having their masks made in China. The same mask made in different LOTs have different flow (VENT) rates. Vent differences that can vary by over 15%. I like the mask and they work well for me, but when the vent leak gets so bad it affects my treatment. Someone needs tobuy them a flow meter, and maybe train someone in China to read it. Jim

Since Poll Lock wants to add his vote to a 7 year old useless poll, I will add Respironics had a new cheap @SS flaw, the "T" where it hooks to the vertical post is too weak,as is the area the straps loop into, it also breaks in the middle 2 cents worth of plastic would fix it.
Use to be able to buy the part to repair it, no more, took them off the market everywhere. Why fix it when you can sell the whole mask for 1,000% more profit.
Continue with the useless polls, feel good! Jim
