Aromatherapy

Post by laxsnore » Wed Jan 21, 2009 4:12 pm

I just got my machine last week which has a built in humidifier. I was wondering if I can add a drop of aromatherapy into the humidifier for added relaxation. Can I buy one from Walmart or any drug store?

Stick to distilled water. The oils are an irritant to the lungs when they are heat vaporised and inhaled.

Yep, try the pursleep--it's excellent! NEVER put anything in the humidifier except distilled water.

When used with CPAP, aromatherapy products are best applied to a cotton ball, or similar, and placed behind the air intake.

I'm glad that I joined. I've been dumping Eucalyptus and Lavendar oils directly into the Distilled Water every night for the last 4 months. Maybe that's why I cough so much

I just ordered the PurSleep beginner pack and will use it as an external aroma.

I'll SECOND that............ I've used it for a year with GREAT Results!!

Also look at the CAP's w/chin-straps .... Another Good Idea that eliminates the mask head gear...
