Thanks for your replies everyone, and special thanks to Wulfman for emailing the 63 page(!) manual.

I really had to laugh at the reply of "guest." After an absence here of over two years, nothing seems to have changed when it comes to the naysayers.

And not that I owe anyone an explanation for why I wanted the manual, my first use of the instructions will be to turn off the lighted buttons. Those blue lights drive me nuts.

My next task will be to use the manual to "play" with all the settings to see just how badly I can screw up my therapy.

Unfortunately you won't find anything in the manual on how to turn off those @#$@#$@%# blue lights. I just put something over them.

And the reason you can't turn off those blue lights is that they are the most highly secret component of the Rerspironics therapy mode.... so secret nobody should control them.
Nice to see you, Amigo!

...thanks for the laugh, ozij, and it's also nice to see you again.

This has been somewhat like a family reunion, and I'm both delighted and surprised that there are still so many familiar faces after five years.

Now is anyone here selling a blue light mask?

Yep! They're having a "blue light special" on some.

OK, den. I should have known that I could count on you to come up with a solution (you're obviously getting too many good night's sleep, and it's making you much too clever and feisty).

I will admit, however, that the image of my CPAP machine wearing a sleep mask is pretty damn funny.

Can anyone PM me with the M Series Auto CPAP with C flex "clinicians/Service" manual(PDF).
I'm interested in the error codes.

If the doctors were so concerned about our therapy they would monitor it more closely. I have diabetes and get blood work done every 3 months and see the doctor. I also have been on c-pap therapy for 20 years with only 4 visits to the sleep doc in that time. Never once was I asked to have a followup they only gave me a cpap and then it was over for them. I just called this last doctor that I haven't seen in 7 years to make a couple of modifications on my script and he did so with out asking me to come in. This shows that my therapy meant nothing to him and that I need to take over. I do recommend that anyone who is thinking of making changes talk to a professioal and make sure that you are not doing something that could put you at risk with your health. Also spend as much time as needed to educate yourself about cpap therapy so that you can make the best decisions about the course you want to travel. For someone to come on here anonomisly to ridicule others who wish to be responsible for their health is just wrong. If you are so sure of your beliefs post your name and e-mail address so that others may argue against your old fashioned ideas.

Right on the clinician's manual that I just happen to find in my carrying case for my ResMed S8 AutoSet11 it states " Important: Remove this guide before handing the device to the patient. Pressures should only be adjusted by qualified personnel" I wonder who they consider qualified personnel! I would say that most of us are more qualified than .................
