I have low blood pressure. 90/60 to 100/65 is my range. I wonder if my CPAP use may lower it even more? I have been using a machine for 30 days now. I sleep well and have adjusted to CPAP well.
Any thoughts? Should I even care, or is there some reason to monitor it? How much has CPAP lowered blood pressure on average?

What does YOUR DR. say? I do notice in my old REMstar Plus user Manual that there are some conditions that make
the use of cpap contraindicated among these is Pathologicaly Low Blood Pressure.

My B/P is about the same as yours. No change with xpap. If it worries you, monitor it with a home B/P setup or have the MD check it regularly.

Re: Low blood pressure and CPAP
My blood pressure is also abnormally low. I bought a blood pressure monitor and I monitor my blood pressure every now and then. It is the same, so I don't think the cpap is changing that for me. Maybe it depends on what your cpap pressure is? Maybe someone else knows if straight higher pressures for a long time make a difference.Linus wrote:I have low blood pressure. 90/60 to 100/65 is my range. As Brenda says, talk to your doctor about it.
