I get migrains with certain odors.
The ones I mentioned are the only ones I do not have problems with.

Some eucalyptus or tea tree oil on a cloth/towel near the air intake would be good if you have a cold or stuffy nose. Perhaps a little peppermint oil, too. Lavender oil may help people relax and fall asleep more easily. Bergamot is not recommended if you have high blood pressure, and it can have a phototoxic effect in some people.

You can find a lot of useful information if you look up the name of the oil at http://www.pubmed.com.

Just curious...Has anyone tried putting a light salt water solution in their humidifier?

Why would you want to do such a thing? You would wind up with salt deposits all over the place.

I DIDN"T SAY I WANTED TO DO IT. AS A MATTER OF FACT I WOULDN'T! ... I was just curious if anyone had actually done it. I have heard a few folks mention it.

There's nothing like the smell of good clean air. Seems I can't get enough of it.

I called Respironics and they said not to put any scents (even vanilla) in a cpap machine.

I cover my breeze plenum (when not in use) with a small zip-lock bag and from time-to-time occasionally spray a light pleasant scent on a tissue and place it in the bag....smells nice for a few days.
