Elderly woman restrained to Bipap. Pls advise!

I'm sorry to hear that but you know she is not suffering now. You know, from Pekoepup, that her bipap setup was the best thing for her situation. She was probably more comfortable with that than you knew. It may have been the discomfort from the sores on her face from the mask that made her try to take the mask off and required restraints.

You did so much for her and she is at peace now! Feel comforted by that!

Thank you for your comforting replies. She is finally free after a lifetime of pain, starting with polio as a baby. It's good to realize that the BiPap may well have given her some help at the end, despite having to be restrained in order to remain on it.

Her friend dreamt this morning that Giuliana was walking normally, without pain, for the first time in decades. Maybe she finally is!

God Speed to your friend. After reading your first couple of posts about her predicament I would say she was glad to move on. You are a good friend.
