CPAP Machine for sale

Post by SuzieQ » Fri Jan 09, 2009 7:52 pm

I have a Remstar M series with CFlex and heated humidifier with carrying case for sale. The smart card is included. There are only 228 blower hours on the machine.

I am asking $400. No shipping charge with full price offer. If you are interested, please send me a private message.

Thank you!

REMstar M Series....."what"?
There are a number of different models that have C-Flex. It might help if you would tell which one.
Should be printed on the top of the machine.

Den
(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

Are you giving up on cpap therapy SuzieQ?

I remembered you had posted some threads in September of last year and I had a few PMs from you. I checked them and that's why I ask - Are you giving up on cpap therapy?

I am selling this machine because I am no longer using it. There is nothing at all wrong with it. It is in excellent condition.

I was really hoping that was NOT going to be the reason you were trying to sell it. Sleep apnea only gets worse. If you're having problems getting your therapy "working", you need to either speak to your doctor or get some more help/advice from the forum members.
I briefly glanced back through your posts/threads to review what your problems may be. It would be helpful if you would tell us just exactly where your pressure is set and what mask you're using (or trying to use). I was under the impression that you were using a pretty low pressure and were having "issues" with your mask......and that your DME had put a limit on how many you could exchange.

It sounds like (from my brief read) that you're being ill-served by the "medical professionals".

PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP on your therapy yet. Many people struggle with this for lengthy periods until they FINALLY get the "right combination" of what works for them.......and then it's like "WOW.....so this is what good sleeping feels like!"

I agree with Den.

Keep working at it.

In the end you will be glad you did.

I have a feeling based on the number of hours on the machine she gave up some time ago and finally deceided to sell the machine because it has been sitting there for some time. Shame though, hate to see someone give up when it could make them feel so much better.

How do you give up and face a life of pain and fatigue?

How can you give up and face a slow, painful death?

Just curious.

Any chance the lady just may be using a different xpap?

Seems a little rude for folks to hog pile this person without really knowing one way or the other. Yeah I understand the desire to see that everyone with OSA sticks with xpap and I understand that chances are when she says she no longer uses this machine it means she's probably not using any machine. Just saying, maybe folks should at least wait till they know she's given up completely before launching into an attempt to talk her back into using xpap.

Just something to think about ..... or not.

Hey SusieQ. As a newbie, and someone who still hasn't quite got the kinks ironed out, I'd just like to echo what the others are saying (with the caveat that no one knows for sure if you've quit CPAP or not). If you can get the thing working, life is SOOOOOO much better. You feel so much more energetic and less sleepy. I'm still working on getting things just right, but after three months of using the machine every night, I feel better than I've felt in as long as I can remember. If you haven't given up, great!!! I'm sure you can find a buyer for your machine. But if you are thinking of giving up, PLEASE DON'T. If you fight through the rough start, you'll be so glad you did.

If I did not have a back-up I would buy it. Some of you folks with that plus you got stuck with from Apria or one of those other profit driven DME's heres your chance to get a Auto that works for you. You can't beat the price and you can use that old plus as a back-up.

My take is, WOW what a waste! I've read through several of SuzieQ's posts too. Such a shame that so many have offered their time; encouragement, compassion and just plain good advice. It may have had a value at the time for SuzieQ, but is now worthless. Hopefully others will derive benefit from the information.
