New Sensor Rig for more comfortable Sleep Studies

Post by ca_hosehead » Fri Jan 09, 2009 2:53 am

I was looking at this great new new setup available for sleep labs. This rig will signifigantly improve patient comfort. There are sensors that give a clear indication of Restless Legs or PLMD, a part of disturbed sleep not often included in sleep studies. The breathing attachment allows easy monitoring of airflow by technicians. There is an attachment that will keep the patient off of his back if this is desired.

Personally I would find this much more comfortable than the rig I had for my last sleep study.

I LOVE the rig for keeping you from sleeping on your back!

Good one!

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I'd like to see him try to use the restroom in the middle of the night!
