A friend of mine makes this analogy about children:
Children come into this world like empty librarys.
As they grow, they have to aquire books, which are
organized and placed on shleves, just like a library.
Over their life time the library grows.
Each of the books can be pulled from the shelf
and the contents used as needed.
As I continue to recover from the years of OSA,
I am finding my way back into the shelves of books, in my library.
I'm finding that many were never returned to the shelf,
some piled in corners and some lying about on the floor,
covered w/dust.
Over the past few years, my passion and enjoyment of
my guitars, was dying, along w/my brain.
My coordination was going away, and I had just about
quit playing, simply because I just couldn't do it anymore
and trying was just too hard.
With cpap and the rebirth of my brain, I'm playing again.
Guitar time is planned into my day again.
I have been playing every morning for 2 weeks.
The above realization came to me this am, when, going through
some of my music sheets, I found one I have not played in a
couple of years. It took me about 10' to move through the
shelves.....sure enough, there it was, piled in the corner,
covered w/dust. I brushed it off, coordinated it w/shoulders,
arms, fingers......took a few trys and all said,
"oh, yea, we remember this one."
Just another example of the damage that OSA inflicts....
and the healing power of cpap.
Returning the books
Returning the books

to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of."
I said that.
