Congratulations. I know how difficult that is when you suffer from PSOS.

One of my daughters-in-law has the same condition, plus other conflicting conditions which had made her "infertile". No sleep apnea, though! She's a Norweigan, and sadly enough none of this was diagnosed until she moved out to Australia. She is, or was, morbidly obese until she had gastric banding, which resulted in a loss of 40kg (drop in the ocean, but clearly enough). Bingo, pregnant. Impossible, say the docs, but there it is. Baby girl. "Oh, won't happen again, impossible". 15 months later, wrong!! 2 years in, baby girl #2 just born. 2 miracles in the one family!

So take care once this one is born unless you're wanting more than one!! Enjoy, it is a lovely time.

congratulations I do not want to scare you . My second pregnancy I am sure I suffered from OSA, but that was 20 some years ago & I had never even heard of OSA. I had very high blood pressure & my daughter was not growing well in my uterus she was very small for dates. I was hospitalised from the 5- 7 month when I had a emergency c- section because of fetal distress. During my hospitalation I would wake up with the night nurse looking at me telling me I stop breathing multiple times during sleep. After my diagnosis Of OSA 4 years ago. I started researching all the info I could about OSA. I did find an article that stated untreated OSA during pregnancy can cause babies small for dates & hypertension along with some other complications. Please use your cpap everytime you sleep to give your baby much needed 02. I was lucky even though my daughter only weighed 2 1/2 pounds at birth she soon gained wejght & was able to take home a perfectly normal baby. Before my c section the doctor told me she couldn't guarantee My baby wouldn't have brain damage. She is now 23 years old & graduated college with a 3.6 average . Also notify your OB-GYN that you have OSA.

Yep, that's what causes it.

Congratulations!
