Hans Rudolph users HELP please

I picked up a V2 from the auction and while giving it the once over I noticed the "sampling ports" are not covered.Are these ports for supplimental O2 ? And should they be capped for normal use ? Online searchs have not made it clear .

Hello, If you are talking about the two ports on the mask side of the hose connection, yes, they are for oxygen to be connected,and must be capped off if not on o2.
I wish you luck with the V-2, It took several tries for me to get the headgear adjusted right, but It is by far the best mask I have ever used. take care , Happy new year to all
