Tell us which mask you are using. Without that we are guessing in the dark.

my mask is a F&P 432 med. i am on day 2 of one of the worst migraines ever. i want to blow my out any relief out there?
Re: mask noises
I've tried that mask and didn't find it to be noisy at all, could it be it's leaking? That might explain the headaches too if it's leaking bad enough that your CPAP isn't even working for you.THEDELILAMA wrote:my mask is a F&P 432 med. i am on day 2 of one of the worst migraines ever. i want to blow my out any relief out there?

Re: mask noises
Are you sure the mask is the proper size? Many times DME's do not give us the correct size unfortunately and it is only through trial and error on our part that we discover we need another size. You might try using the mask fitting guide on cpap.com to see if the mask is the correct size.
Have you had success with it in the past with minimal leakage (the cause of all the noise)? The air leaking out of the mask is what makes all the noise. Until you get the leaks under control some you are probably going to continue to have noise.
How long have you used this mask? It is possible the seal is worn out if you have used the mask regularly for several months. Although many of use our mask lots longer than the "recommended" time with success. I think proper fit is the key (in my opinion).
How often do you wash you mask seal? What is your cleaning method? It could be a build up of facial oil that is keeping it from getting a good seal. Wash it in mild soap such as baby shampoo, Ivory dish soap, Bonner's, original Dawn, etc. Rinse it thoroughly and let it air dry.
Are you washing your face nightly? This helps remove the oils on our face to help with the seal. If you are using any type of moisturizers on your face it may cause the seal to leak and is not good for the silicone.
What is your pressure? Pressure requirements may cause you problems in obtaining a good seal with some masks.
What have you done to remedy the leakage? Have you tried the Macks silicone ear plugs?

I am unsure if this is your problem but you MUST spell your username the SAME each time along with the password. They have to match EXACTLY what was used to register with. I notice each time you write you spell it differently and I have a hunch you are using the different spellings to log in on.
Have you tried any of my suggestions?
If I were on my third day of a migraine I would call the doctor. Something else is probably causing you to have the migraine other than your cpap.

How long have you been on treatment?
How long have you used the F & P 432? Was it purchased through a DME?
Has it worked for you in the past?

Re: mask noises
Could it be that you have a really bad sinus infection posing as a migraine? I know there have been a few times my sinus infections have been so severe that they make me physically sick, nauseated, light sensitive, etc.
I am not a doctor or in the health profession in any way. If was going on day five of a migraine I would be finding a doctor that could help resolve the issue. I have had to go to the doctor a few times when my migraines have been really bad and she gave me a shot and told me to go home to bed. I seriously think this is more than just your cpap machine and noisy mask issues.
I know I used to wake up in the night with horrible horrible headaches -- looking back I really think they were due to low oxygen levels in my blood -- but they would resolve once I was up and about for awhile (usually a few minutes to a few hours). Mine always went away after a period of time and never lingered for days and days.
Have you tried cold / hot compresses? Any aspirin, Advil, or other over the counter remedies? Tylenol in my experience will not help a migraine. There are some combination drugs that have caffeine in them that is suppose to help speed the relief -- but I am allergic to caffeine and so read the labels and have never taken the combination drugs.
Wish I could be of more help.
