Error code 14?

Post by Nealbopper » Tue Dec 16, 2008 6:38 pm

I have a resperonics c-Flex remstar plus and pulled it off my headboard onto the bed. It was on the heater pad with humidfier hooked up as well. It started beeping and a triangle with the exclamation point is blinking. Its giving me an E 14 message. Did i just fry my NEW unit? Please answer A.S.A.P. as I can't sleep without my unit. Thank you, Neal

O.K. I found out what the error code means. Unfortunately i need to replace my Main PCA. Does anyone know what this will cost? I have read that it will cost about the same as a cheap unit.... I bought this unti at an estate sale for $20.00. No one knew what it was but me. I do not wan't to just write it off as i know the cost of a new one. If it costs me 300.00 to fixz it, i'm still ahead. Do you think i should send it to CPAP.com?

No, After posting i researched all the prior threads and saw some similar threads. One thread had all the error codes
and i took it from there. I took my unit apart and blew out the small tubing. (water present) and wiped off the moter surface.
I'm not sure if the main board is fried as there was very little water spots on it but nothing major. I'm letting it dry out now.
I need to go and order a new machine through my medical supply store. My deductable has been met this year so the cost
should be small. I will be traveling allot next year and am also thinking of ordering the reavel machine for $340.00. So i will
have a backup. Thank you, Neal
