Swift LT pillow fitting

Post by Mebake » Wed Dec 10, 2008 11:26 am

I have recently started using the Swift LT. I am having a slight problem with fitting. The large seems to leak and with the medium it seems like more of an effort to get enough air. I love the fit of the medium but not sure if I like the results. I do not usually use humidified air but that would be my next test. I also seem to be a bit congested I think that may coincident since I have a bit of a cold. That brings me to my last question of this post. What do people do if they are totally congested and cant use nasal pillow masks

Thank You
Mebake

Only once has the combination of Nyquil and a heated humidifier not cleared up my congestion enough to use the nasal mask without problems (actually, usually the HH alone is enough).

For that situation, I have a backup mask, the Hybrid. Like I said, I've only used it once since getting my OptiLife (it was my regular mask before that).

Yep ... as Tilly suggests ... backup FF or Hybrid/Liberty mask.

As for your medium pillows ... others have posted similar issue and I think someone came up with a fix to carefully trim the pillow openings with a knife or scissors.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Mentioned here:
silver123 wrote:My remedy was to trim more plastic from the opening in the small pillow for more airflow and that worked fine. You have to trim both walls since it is double walled. I used very fine micro-surgical scissors and on ly trimmed a 1 -2 mm or so. -- viewtopic/t36892/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36044&p=311137
