Find out what a full face mask is and get one. Many of us have to use them for the reasons you state.

Go to Cpap.com, look under full face masks and check out the Ultramirage, Quattro, and Liberty. Been using the UM for ages and it's great.

Hi Mac: I have the same problem. I use a chin strap, also Polident Denture strips. Wet a strip, place it on your bottom lip, press upper & bottom lip together & hold for a few seconds. Also can use tape, blue painters tape for delicate surfaces. I have fair success with the strips, but thinking about the tape. I use Mirage Swift Nose Pillows.

Some people have success with taping their mouth shut. I use medical grade tape but some people use the blue painters tape. I know medical grade tape is not toxic and won't give me cancer or something from applying it to my mouth every day. Some people have success with using just a chinstrap to hold there jaw closed. This doesn't work for me though. I can still breath through my lips with my jaw closed. Also, there are full face masks available that cover your mouth and your nose. You may or may not need a chinstrap when using a full face mask.

Chinstrap works just fine for me. I use the Deluxe Chinstrap from https://www.cpap.com:

I've also used the Tiara Topaz successfully, but the fabric irritates my skin, so I switched to the Deluxe:

A recent innovation is the PAP Cap, which many people like:

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)
