Fisher & Paykel hc220le cpap machine

I need to unlock my cpap machine and increase the number from 7 to 10 per my cardiologist. Does anyone know how to unlock the Fisher and Paykel hc220le cpap machine???? It is about 4 years old, good as new and the company wants me to buy the upgraded one and won't help me over the phone to reset mine.

If it has a "little door" on the side, usually covered by a DME sticker, you'll need a pressure manometer to change the pressure.

If you're interested in changing the pressure yourself, open the door on the left hand side of the display. There are two black buttons. The button on the right has a slit down the centre of it.
Press down on this button on the left until you hear a click, then turn the dial right to increase the pressure or left to decrease the pressure. Hope this helps

I have the 254 apap machine... that one requires software to change the levels...
from the buttons you can only thrun on/off the autoawake feature and adjust the humidity levels... see

Granted this post may be a few years late for the original question of how to unlock the Fisher & Paykel HC221LE cpap machine, however, it might help someone in the future. I just aquired this model machine last week. I don't know everything about it yet, but, with a little help from the "professionals" at my sleep study center (who also couldn't figure it out 100%), an hour of trial and error and some luck... I cracked the code (so to speak). So here's how to do it. Turn the machine off and turn the humidity control down to zero (if this control is not on zero the machine will not go into the programing mode). Then press the front button with the triangle symbol. While holding down the triangle button start the machine. This will put the machine into the programing mode. At this point if you turn the humidity control and look at the LED on the side the numbers will go from 0 to 5. I'm not sure what each number will do??? I believe these are some type of pre-programs... one of which locks the machine. You want to leave the counter on zero!!! Then press the triangle button again. With a little luck the machine will restart on its own and be unlocked. Then all you need to do is turn the adjustment screw on the side to change the pressure. Pretty simple really... you just have to know how. Good luck.
