If your insurance pays for it, that's great. It's a great machine. It has everything on it. It's the one I've had since February. I didn't pay nearly that much for it but, if the insurance pays it doesn't matter. I was on my own.

I expect it has a smart card but not a card reader. You may want to buy the package (card reader and software) from cpap.com. It's great for tracking your therapy and people on this forum can help you make changes in the settings to give you better therapy if you have that and post your numbers.

MOST insurance companies will not cover that but the package is a reasonable price from cpap.com, again, no customs or duty and no taxes - just a reasonable shipping charge and the exchange. It's something to think about as you get into this.

It may be that your provider or your doctor will read the card monthly (that's what your deal sounds like) with their equipment and make adjustments accordingly. That's fine too. Hopefully you have a good provider and a good doctor. Many here don't.

Come to the forum often and ask any questions you have. People here are able and willing to help you.

All the best!
