Are Hawthorne & Bev the only ones here already using the goLite? It works for Hawthorne not sure about Bev. So far nobody who actually used it says it didn't work. Anybody?

I'm still curious have using it for 15 minutes early AM stops the blues all day long. For me it's not a sleep/waking up problem, it's just the blahs all day long. I tell my wife it's nothing a couple weeks in Hawaii wouldn't cure. I told her if we hit the big lotto we would have a winter house where it was summer there. Anyway, more research then I'll probably try it.

EDIT: After posting above I thought I'd check my lotto ticket and I WON!!! Well, not the grand prize, but I did hit the Mega + 1 for a total of $3. Uh-oh, hope Obama doesn't send the tax man after me!!

It's going to be okay in the end; if it's not okay, it's not the end.

Here are the intro pages from the manual, explaining the theory and a picture of my unit itself.

I don't use it for sleep/waking up. I use it for "all day blahs" on long dark winter days.

Thanks, that's the same unit we're looking at. They have it for $110 on-line. The big question is how much time do you use it? I'm hung up on 20 min @ 8 am lasting all day.

I use it for 20 minutes, only in the morning, when I first get up. I put it on while I am checking my emails. Sometimes I use it for the 20 minutes a little later (instead of when
I first get up), while I am reading my morning paper and having my coffee. I find I have to be doing something while it is on. I can't seem to just sit there in the light and do nothing. That may be just me!

I only use it once a day and only in the morning.

Your thought of 20 minutes a day at around 8 am would be fine.

By the way, that's a good price. I bought mine in Canada so paid more!

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Look Mr. Grumpy
I don't think that is what is really going on, but maybe it is?
sitting in front of what ever it is is not going to do the job!
why don't you just sit in front of your wife for 15 minutes tell her you love her,
kiss her that wont cost any money, and
maybe winter will go by faster your wife might be happier and you wont be so grumpy.
OH yeah, go to Drop.IO/waterlily you'll love it!
Oh yeah and maybe you should re-invent you,
and there is no such thing as a perfect any one,
after 42 years, your wife should know that. So maybe she just need you!
Winter does not suck being grumpy is what sucks!
It gets cold so what els do you have to do, get warn holding you wife.

well good luck grumpy and have a Merry grumpy Christmas and
A Happy grumpy New Year.
