Setting the record straight

Post by carbonman » Fri Nov 14, 2008 7:57 pm

I need to clear the record for PC(padacheek) and her products.

I recently received a hose cover cozy.

I made an attempted joke, that PC forgot to include
the installation instructions. ....thinking that something that
simple does not need instructions.

First of let me say, PC is one of the kindest, most gracious
people I have every had the pleasure to encounter, ever.
She graciouly welcomes everyone, especially newbies, into chat.
She very graciouly welcomed me to chat and helped me learn
the players and how to fit in.
When I placed my first order to her for a forehead pad when I
switched to a ffm, she included some free-be stuff, just because.
I learned through chat and studying her web site, she is totally
comitted to creating products that help make a difference in
others cpap therapy success. Her products have certainly made
a difference in my cpap success.

I totally under estimated her products and her attention to detail,
in creating those products.
The hose cozy that I received did, in fact, have instructions.
They were cleverly hidden in a small silk bag.
I was so excited about the hose cover, I looked at them briefly,
and put them aside. I installed the cover........and the rest is history..
the cover totally exceeded my expectations and it is wonderful.

I did wonder about that small silk bag, though.
I put it in my night stand drawer and didn't give it another thought.
..........well, come to find out, that small, silk bag is the installation tool.
Place the bag, w/it's neat ties, on the end of the hose, and
the silk guides the hose smoothly through the cover.

So, setting the record straight, this lady DOES cover ALL the details,
w/quality materials, quality workwomanship and gracious service.
"If your therapy is improving your health but you're not doing anything
to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of."
I said that.

My little jokes get me in trouble now and then when they are misunderstood, too, carbonman.

I think with that gracious of a correction, though, you are now allowed to make a few more PC jokes!

Now that is really thinking about all the small important details!

Fantastic!

My little (practical) jokes don't always go over either. Like the time earlier this summer when I removed the hinge pins from the washroom door at the office. The next guy that attempted to open the door came back to the office in shock... "OMG... the door fell off!!! We are screwed!!!"

Then there was the time I fashioned "extra" little pads for a co-workers mouse and attached them to the existing pads under the mouse... the pads were made of double-sided tape. Talk about a stuck mouse.

And then there was the time... er... enough thread hijacking.

I hear a lot of great things about Padacheek! Cheers!

Oh Carbonman,
You make me blush. I am not worthy of all that fuss.

And you did not tell the Rest of the Story, so I am going to accept blame for not including the PROPER instructions. I put the instructions to the Opus hose cover in the silk bag. So I was bad. I want to take the blame for missing that little detail. The Opus hose does not get a little silk bag for installing.

But that being said, you can joke all you wish about me or what I do, because I am pretty impervious to it.
I love this bunch of people and their generous spirits to help others.

Thanks Carbonman, you are da Bomb too.

http://www.padacheek.com sounds like a MUCH better outfit than Wal-Mart--the last set of socks I bought at the Wall had NO INSTRUCTIONS WHATSOEVER!!!! I had to take them back.

Get summa those covers for your handlebars, carbonman, and a pad for your bike helmet.
