First Night's Numbers

Post by eutychus » Fri Oct 17, 2008 12:48 pm

These numbers are only from the LCD on my M Series Pro, after my first night...
Average L/min. = 50.6
Aberage AHI = 2.1

That's a pretty bad leak, eh?

Depends, what pressure are you at? All masks have a certain amount of constant leak to get rid of your exhaled CO2.

Your AHI isn't too bad.

There's a lot of factors that I don't really quite understand yet. This thread goes into more detail.

Try doing a search for "flexfit" and "leak rate".

At the pressure of 9 you mentioned later...yes, that's a bad leak rate.

Time to try an Activa

Are you sure the mask fits well? Was it well sized? The DME help you make sure it was a good fit?
PR System One APAP, 10cm
Activa nasal mask + mouth taping w/ 3M micropore tape + Pap-cap + PADACHEEK + Pur-sleep
