HELP PLEASE Funky Mold Smell From Machine

Post by MMCGOWAN » Wed Oct 15, 2008 8:53 am

I spent the last three days at the Hyatt in Ft. Lauderdale

Walked into the room and the funk of mold almost knocked me over

the thought of sending this stuff pressurized through my sinuses was awful but what choice do I have...

Home in vegas now and the funky mold smell is coming out of the main machine....

all hoses etc... are drying

any ideas of how to get his awful odor / organisms out of the main respirator???

Need Help

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

A great idea came from these replies.....

A few drops of rubbing alchohl on a cotton ball placed into the intake and running the machine for a bit is already helping

a few drops of bleach would most like ly produce a chlirine gas to go through and really clean out most of the creepy crawlys will let you know
