OT: Want to find an AICD patient's forum

Good Morning!

As many of you know, our beloved 6ptstar had a little life-changing event a few weeks back, and is still in slow recovery mode.

He sent me a long email on Friday outlining everything he's been through. I called my Dad, the Cardiac Anesthesiologist, and asked him what he thought of 6ptstar's experience. He thought he was getting excellent care, since they installed an AICD in him.

Dad also thought 6ptstar should find an AICD patients support group to join online. I've been hunting around for one, and haven't been able to find one.

Anyone here have an AICD? Belong to an online forum? Want to share that info?

In case you don't know, AICD means: automatic internal cardiac defibrillator, according to Google.

Anyone out there sporting a pacemaker/defibrillator? Want to create a support group online? I got a member for you! Jerry's a great guy!
