Shades of: The Handi-man Character on The "In Living Color" Show

"Never underestimate the powers of the handicapped!"

Look up in the sky,
It’s a bird, It’s a plane,
No, it’s a flying wheelchair.

Offensive? I don't think so.

Politically incorrect? Probably.

DS,

Are you making fun of the "mentally challenged" folks in Washington, DC again?

IMO, Political Correctness has gotten way out of hand.

If you haven't tried it.....don't knock it. That extra oxygen probably works better than Viagra or Cialis. (and I've never tried those other two)

I'm with you Roberto!!!! If one takes offense at a joke or comedy show, perhaps one should look within ones self.....priorities seem to be skewed a bit.....There are far more important things to be stressed and offended about....

Life is far too short to be taken seriously!!!!

Wars arise from a failure to understand one another's humanness. Instead of summit meetings, why not have families meet for a picnic and get to know each other while the children play together?

What she said. I actually saw the bit on Leno's show and found myself taken aback from his comments. I remember not too long ago that the idea of HAVING to wear a mask to bed every night for the rest of my life is the least sexy image I can conjure up and I was heartily resisting that ... until I found I had no choice but to try it out. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but if I had saw that a few months ago, I may end up sitting on the fence about seeking therapy longer than I have.

Now that I am papping, I can't image life without it.

I have encountered so many people who know they have it and won't get tested. I just shared some info with a friend who said she knows her dh has it, his brother has it even... but her dh will not get tested. It's sad.

Almost sorry I missed Leno's piece.
Lets face it..OSA treatment is comical, clunky, and inconvienent.
But the way I figure it is dont sweat the small stuff, at least my
RX is for AIR...blowing at hurricane strength, but its just AIR.
Will take that over a pill/side effects of meds any day.
Keep smiling and breathing gang.
