Dry eye and condensation

Post by Caddisfly » Mon Oct 13, 2008 5:32 pm

Currently using the Mirage Activa with nose pillow, however, the primary problem is, the pillow seal breaks/opens during the night and leaks air into my left eye, resulting in a stinging and dry eye in the morning. Additionally, although the nose pillow works fairly well, I also continue to get water/ condensation which requires draining during the night. Has anyone tried the Mirage Micro which may or may not resolve the fit issue? The nose pillow reservoir looks smaller and therefore my concern is that the moisture/water problem will only worsen?

If there is a better mask out there I'm open to suggestions......

Welcome to the forum!

Do you use a heated humidifier? What is it set on? Is there water in the hose too? Do you clean your mask daily? Do you clean your face every night right before going to bed? The more info you can give, the better answers you will get.
