The velcro strips on the new Pap-Cap are removable and can be placed wherever you want. For a nasal mask like the Swift, I would probably try using the Pap-Cap without the velco with the Swift headgear over Pap-Cap. For my NA-II, I ditch the headgear altogether and use the Pap-Cap's velcro strips to attache the NA-II tubing.

Re: Pap-Cap
The cap should work well with long hair.
I've posted before about how the PAP-cap even held my standard Activa in place-with my lowest leak rate for any mask-even though the mask is too large for me. I wore the petite Fisher Paykel so the Activa feels like it was made for a giant &the headgear of the Activa was totally useless.
It was like wearing a poorly fitting full face mask and I just couldn't sleep more that 4-5 hours with it on. And I couldn't read at night using the Activa. So I've gave up on the Activa after about 5 weeks.
My favorite mask has been the Opti-Life. At first I wore the both the Opti headgear and the PAP-cap with chinstrap (and tucked the tails in). The cap kept my mouth closed nicely but with the Opti headgear I still managed to lever the pillows out of my nose slightly so it leaks. After 3 or 4 nights of not being able to avoid this I cut up the Opti headgear to get two velcro straps... used a leather punch to cut a third slot on each side of the Opti's plastic frame...put the short straps that came with the PAP-cap in the slot for the Opti chin stabilizer...and sewed a velstretch strip to the chinstrap of the PAP-cap. The velcro straps attached at the third slot go up to the velcro of the cap brim and the rear straps attach to the chin strap. It is easy to put on and holds the Opti securely in place; I have few leaks and I'm sleeping 6-7 hours again. After seeing how well it worked I cut the tails off the PAP-cap and added a bit of velcro to close it in the back.
PS I can read myself to sleep again. Low wattage lamp on a timer, put the mask on, read until I start nodding off, turn off the light and sleep. If I fall asleep before turning off the light the timer turns it off. With the Activa I would read until sleepy then put on the mask. By the time I got the mask on I was thoroughly awake but couldn't read again. Love my PAP-cap.

Re: Pap-Cap
I've been playing around with one of my CPAP-CAPs to see if I could stabilize my Breeze and Headrest. This is what I've come up with. Yes, crude sewing and, yes, the fabric doesn't match, but it does make life easier, for me anyway. I just sewed three loose loops at the forehead, on top, and right above the back closure to fit the overhead tube through, and then I sewed a couple ties just below the forehead velcro to tie the nasal interface in place comfortably rather than using pantyhose. (I started with the pantyhose but kept getting it stuck to the velcro, which in my easily tilted world was eventually too much of an irritant. )
So here are a few pictures to show how the cap can work with the Breeze.
