Need assistance with Fisher & Paykel HC604

Post by AuntieNae » Wed Oct 08, 2008 9:02 pm

Good Evening
A friend of mine started using the CPAP just a week ago. They have a Fisher & Paykel HC604. Can anyone tell me how they can adjust the ramp time on that machine from 20 min to 30 min?

Thank you!

From everything I can find, the 20 min. Ramp time is hard-coded in the machine......and can't be changed......you either use it as-is or not at all. And, it looks like it applies to the 200 series and the 600 series machines.

From the manual:

RAMP
Reduces pressure to a lower
level to help you fall asleep.
The pressure will gradually return
to full operating pressure
over 20 minutes

The manual can be downloaded from:

Wulfman is exactly correct... the ramp time is not user-adjustable on the 600 or the 200 series.
