industry still young and growing

Post by gracie97 » Fri Jul 01, 2005 10:42 pm

While wiring me up last night, the sleep tech mentioned that the CPAP industry is only about 20 years old. Before that, he said, people with bad apnea were given trachs (sounds good to me).

With the industry now growing to rapidly, it seems reasonable to expect market forces to create a great deal development in the the not-so-distant future.

Started CPAP on 7/1/2005
Mild apnea
Plus upper airway resistance syndrome with severe alpha intrusion

LIke maybe cordless machines that are the size of a pack of cigarettes and can be worn on the top of the head?

And have UBS ports for extracting data!
