Sleep Study

Post by 2listless » Sat Jul 02, 2005 8:58 am

My PCP sent me to the cardiologist, who sent me to the Pulmonolist, who sent me to the Sleep Center, where I had the unfortunate experience of having a horrible sleep study and equally bad titration study. I also had the misfortune of working with a Sleep Doctor who was an *********! After 6months of getting nowhere, I was put on an Autotitrating machine to check levels and then left on the auto. After one year of crappy treatment from a jerk of a doctor, I complained to my PCP, my Cardiologist and my Pulmonoligist. I was transferred to a new doctor in the same Sleep Center after being told by all 3 doctors that they NEVER refer to him. But, now things are looking better and the new one is everything the other one was not. I intend to keep working with him until I get ALL my issues resolved! I have a copy of my sleep study and a copy of my prescription!

Life is not a dress rehearsal

The "him" the 3 docs were talking about was the "jerk"...not the new good doc, I hope.
