Hi Reddwarf and everyone,

I'm a newbie here also, and I'm also from Texas..Irving to be exact. I'm currently dealing with the leaking issue and trying to find the right mask. My sleep technician gave me two masks to take home and try out, they both leak. I'm going to call in the morning to see if I can try a different one. I know I will eventually find one that's right for me, and so will you Reddwarf, just hang in there!

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement. I took the CPAP on a business trip this week. I have a new record of 6 hours on it. Honestly, I'm not feeling a difference yet but I'm sticking with it.

I have an appointment to try a different mask on Monday.

I took Babette's advice and used the nasal wash. It felt really weird to use but it worked well!

Lesson learned on traveling: make sure you have time to have the machine tested by TSA (only took a few moments) and take an extension cord with you for the hotel.
