Yep, that one is being done:

Wow, what will they think of next - so I guess the real benefit here might depend on the size of your tongue... if you have a long tongue, is it more likely or less likely to fall back and obstruct your airway ?

Take these folks for example:

Actually, with tongues like these you wouldn't even need to consider the new surgical option, you could just wrap it around the bedpost a couple of times...

And Jeff, just for you, take a look at this anoura fistulata bat:

Image

This bat has a tongue that's one and a half times as long as it is! - The anoura fistulata bat uses its extraordinarily long tongue to sip nectar from strangely-shaped flowers in forests in Ecuador, where it lives. - Scientists have worked out that if the bat's tongue belonged to a cat, it could lap milk 60cm away from its bowl!

Amazing, there's this whole sub-culture dedicated to "long tongues" on the internet...

Oh well, I can't put it off any longer, guess I'd better go do battle with the hose

Those two guys could cause obstructive sleep apnea in their bed partners.

I'm guessing there's a strong possibility that the tongue in the lower photo has been photoshopped ? otherwise, not sure how she would fit the thing in her mouth!

Mind you... no, let's not go there...

What is that? Is that a tongue implant? Does it keep your tongue up at night instead of in your throat? This could be a good thing!

Good job, Snoredog.

One of the links led to this link, which I think was very interesting. Looks like this may turn out to be something good.

I'll bet they wrote that last paragraph about the dog a little "tongue in cheek".

With a dog like that between them, I wonder how their sex life is.
