Wow, bizarre. Thanks. I don't know how many times I tried it a month ago, with total failure. Just now I tried again, and it worked. I was wrong, so thanks for posting that!

Now I have to think about it ... yeah, I just downloaded five nights of data which had been sitting on the unit for a month. But Vitabase hung "attaching" two of those five, so they are trash. I may not have wanted to spend more money, but I was also a bit relieved to think that if I got a new pulse oximeter with different software, maybe I'd have less of these aggravations. And the CMS50E is about a third of what I paid for my 7500.

I'm using the software usb cable for my SPO7500 on "Windows 7 public beta build 7000" 64 bit with no problems.
