I got my Swift LT nasal pillows a couple of days ago. I was looking through their web site, and came across this. See the items 60549, 60550 on page 2 of the online document.

Does anybody know what those Pressure port plugs are for? Any speculations?

Re: Swift LT Pressure Port Plugs
Most all nasal and full face masks have these built in, the pillows don't. It is my opinion, that it is for the oxygen connector to plug in. I have oxygen with my cpap but it connects to my machine instead (much much better that way)

Re: Swift LT Pressure Port Plugs
That is a possibility! I have never seen any of the ones you mentioned, I am new to cpap and have tried only a couple of nasal pillow models. If it is for oxygen, where do you think it can be plugged into? I do not see any obvious place in the current system we have. Can it be at the end of the long small diameter tube at the swivel connector? Do you know any model which does it that way?jsmythe wrote:Most all nasal and full face masks have these built in, the pillows don't. It is my opinion, that it is for the oxygen connector to plug in. Although I have not seen the distal port plugs for the pillows masks, I would think it plugs in the end where the cap is on the Swift, but upon looking at my Headrest, I do not have a clue where it would go....or how....it seems that it would almost certainly have to connect to the machine it that case...

'plugs in the end where the cap is on the Swift'? What is the cap that you are referring to? I was talking about Swift LT only (and not the Headrest).jsmythe wrote:Although I have not seen the distal port plugs for the pillows masks, I would think it plugs in the end where the cap is on the Swift, but upon looking at my Headrest, I do not have a clue where it would go....or how....it seems that it would almost certainly have to connect to the machine it that case...
