Comfort Curve with automatic cpap

I have an automatic cpap that has the tubing running it the hose. I am very interested in trying the comfort curve but they do not make it with the tubing. I am thinking about getting one and modifing it. Should only have to drill a hole in the end connecter and place tube in it. Anyone know why this would not work?
