REMstarPro M humidifier

Post by BoomersRock » Thu Aug 14, 2008 8:17 am

I have checked all the connections and it doesn't appear my humidifier is working-my water level doesn't go down. The manual mentions about a light on the humidifier dial that I don't remember being on. Anything else I need to check prior to calling my provider or manufacturer? I recently traveled with it but everything was working when I got back.

Be sure all the electrical cords are plugged into the brick on the back of the machine.

Pulled out the owner's manual last night. Pulled machine apart, checked everything. Not warm this morning; humifier fried but still under warranty.

Alot of information in those books! Also pulled out my sleep study and became familiar with the data dn abbreviations in it. All in becoming educated. I guess I can't believe that you go through a study which isn't cheap, they give you a machine and say good luck, see you later. Does anyone else think that is a strange way to deal with this treatment? No wonder so many people get frustrated. Duhhhh!

Yes, but it is the norm in most cases it seems!

The flow generator does have to be on in order for the light on the dial to show and it has to be on 1 thru 5 (Not on 0). Mine fried from leaks (early model) but it still lights and does get hot but has only one temperture no matter what you put the dial on.
