Hans Rudolph Full Face Mask

Post by Newsgrouper » Thu Jun 23, 2005 5:18 am

It appears my Hans Rudolph full face mask may turn out to work well for me. Seals very well with minor leakage at the bridge of my nose. I have just ordered a Sensa-Seal from Hans Rudolph that is designed specifically to deal with this type of leak. Has anyone any experience with the Sensa-Seal attachment? The additional cost of the Sensa-Seal ($20.00) increases the already high cost of the basic mask ($189.00). That said, if I can be excused for quoting from JFK's inaugural address it sums up how I feel about eventually finding a mask that will reduce AHI, be comfortable, hold up after constant use, and be reasonably easy to clean:
I will "pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship."

The DME that ordered mine for me, never measured me.
I now have a small, but need a petite. I will let you know how the new one works for me. I use polyester batting to seal up the leaks. Mine is stil to big for me. Sensa Seal will not work.

I can get a good nights sleep if I plug the leaks.

Hope it works for you Severeena. If the Sensa-Seal stops the minor leak at the bridge of my nose it should work fine for me. They sent me measuring calipers that enabled them to determine my size within a millimeter. It is unforgivable that they would give you this mask (one that needs almost a perfect measurement) without properly measuring you.

I know. The DME rep is a ditz and a joke.

My own Sleep Doctor wanted me to have the Hans Rudolph.

Will some one remind me to call my other DME to see if they can order the HR for me. I forgot to call them today.

I do not want to be stuck for another 3 months with the so called best FF on the market when if fact it isn't for me.
